The goal of the BCRC is
an aspiring, devoted mission that will reap benefits for the entire community.
To be effective we need to involve both local and seasonal residents, college
students, college faculty and staff, friends, family, and any visitors and
supporters from wherever you may be in this big beautiful world. The BCRC’s approach is based on collaboration
with a hint of resiliency and adaptability that bridges geography, nationality,
social class, and both public and private business sectors. We have had splendid success in raising
awareness about the value of restoring the watershed, but we need to keep the
momentum alive! The BCREP is working at involving the local community in a
range of educational programs and projects, and are making our work known to
others who live in and around our watershed.
Whether you come out to pull weeds, plant
trees, support our efforts financially, or stay updated on our Facebook page we
encourage you to join the effort. Here are several ways you can participate:
Volunteer: There are many opportunities
to come out and get your hands in the dirt, help count plants, or to show your
support in whatever fashion you can!
Buy Local: Prescott is full of options to
support local business. Support the
economic revitalization of our watershed by purchasing products that are grown
or made in the area.
